Prompt: Consider  the relationship and conversation between Clarisse and Montag.
Describe their relationship.  What might Clarisse symbolize or  represent
in the narrative.

To me there relationship was thoughtful and they had alot to talk about. Clarisse was the one who was spiritive and Montag would normally be the serious one . To me that fits together perfectly. Clarisse represented life and somehow she seemed dark and lively at the same time .

Prompt: With the introduction of the smart phone and the Internet, people are becoming more self-reliant but increasingly more secluded, isolated.  Do you agree or disagree?  What are the pros?  What are the cons?

Today's technology is constantly advancing. Peoples lives revolve around electronic devices. This new equipment have a big impact on today's society and beginning generations. This modern technology has its positive and negative aspects. Things such as smart phones and the internet have been given the job of helping people stay connected, learn new things, and share. However, people are beginning to loose their connection of the real world. They are so busy living a double life through the internet that they forget to stop and look around at the life they have in front of them. Not only are they forgetting about the outside world but the other people living in it. Now a days with smart phones people don't have as much face to face time. I believe this new advancing technology has its perks, yet it is being used improperly. As long as we can find a balance with electronics and real life, we shall not be consumed by the internet, smart phones, and soon to come technology.

isolated.  Do you agree or disagree?  What are the pros?  What are the
cons?

I think like in the book people are going to be less aware of many other things they can do. I agree with the new technology, but people should still do things the old fashioned way. Some of the pros of being self reliant are that you can depend on yourself in times of need. There will be less of depending on others to take care of you, and having to take care of others. On the otherhand, when people need less of eachother alot of great things will be out of use. You wont need to go to a boook for information, or even a doctor. Just like in F451 people will forget the beauty in many things and only rely on the new equipment.

Prompt: Consider the relationship and conversation
between Clarisse and Montag.  Describe their relationship.  What might Clarisse
symbolize or represent in the narrative?

I think Clarisse and montag have a thoughtful relationship, where they have to make eachother think. Clarisse challenges Montag's way of thinking. She is free spirited, and stops to smell the roses literally and figuritively. Unlike most people in these futuristic times she looks at her surroundings with great detail. I think that Montag also interests Clarisse, because she is always so intrigued when he speaks about the darkest of things. Such as the burning of great literature that he thinks is normal. I think clarisse simbolizes the real meaning of life that Montag doesn't quite understand.

Prompt: Consider the relationship and conversation between Clarisse and Montag.  Describe their relationship.  What might Clarisse symbolize or represent in the narrative?

When Montag and Clarisse meet it seems as if they have an instant connection. From Montag's perspective, Clarisse seems to be a misfit in the community. She sees things differently from others especially Montag. Montag takes a liking to her since she seemed so different and free spirited. While Montag on the other hand was lives this never ending, never changing schedule. As time goes on Montag realizes that Clarisse never leaves his mind. Her memory lingers in a tucked away part of his mind. Clarisse seems to be the game changer in the plot. I think she symbolizes life, something Montag has lost due to living in this society where burning books is a job.
